Review:
The Morrows have arrived to Sweet Valley. Not only have they moved into a mansion that puts even Bruce Patman's to shame, but they have a handsome son named Nicholas (and a deaf daughter named Regina).

The Morrows are throwing a huge party in hopes of meeting the rest of the happening faces in Sweet Valley. Of course, Jessica just has to be one of the first to show up! Nevermind that the timely Elizabeth (who is never late for anything in her life) is running pretty late. Jessica throws caution to the wind and goes on to the party without Elizabeth.

In the meantime, Elizabeth has been drugged and kidnapped by a creepy, obsessive orderly whom has been harboring a huge crush on her from afar at the hospital where she and Jessica have been volunteering. Elizabeth felt sorry for him, thus she was her usual sweet and charming self, it seems this made the desperate man love her even more!

So, while Elizabeth is being held against her will, Jessica is partying it up and trying best as she can to gain the attention of Nicholas. Finally, after being pushed into the pool by Todd, Jessica admits to the crucial fact that Elizabeth still has not shown up at the party and something must be wrong.

Fast forward into the story and the search for Elizabeth is on while momentarily Jessica seems to forget about her mad crush on the happening Nicholas. For a while the cops hone in on the wrong suspect, a student Elizabeth was to tudor the night before.

At last, thanks to the detective work of Todd and Jessica, Elizabeth is rescued from Crazy Carl (who feeds her frozen pancakes and keeps her tied up tight) before he steals her away into the wilderness to an abandoned cabin far removed from civilization!

From 'the real' eyes and ears of Sweet Valley

Okay, lets start off with Jessica and her sudden concern for Elizabeth. Yes, they may be sisters but when is the first time you've ever seen Jessica worry about anything other than her own skin? That's right, never. Her real worry about the demise of Elizabeth was a selfish one, as always. I mean, who would bail her out if Elizabeth was never found? There would be no one left.

As for Elizabeth. Whose to say she didn't secretly enjoy the seclusion and never-ending admiration of Carl? She was so nice to him, after all! She did buy his attention and earn his true love. Just maybe something could have happened behind the scenes, something we don't know about! Face it, it's just not natural for someone to be as angelic as Elizabeth seems sometimes!
