Review:
Jessica knows she can handle any guy, or does she? When she decides shes sophisticated enough to go out partying for a whole night with her college heart throb Scott Daniels, Jessica gets more than she bargains for!
Not only is he a real jerk, and has no respect for her. But...she ends up sleeping on the floor, then getting lost in the woods. Ultimately, her dream date turns into a nightmare and the end result is humility and a raging case of poison oak that prevents her from going to a great party. But thanks to a rumor, Jessica ends up saving face, as always when a story sparks the rumor mill that Jessica told Scott off in front of all his friends!
On the flipside, Elizabeth tries to play the part of her twin and takes an important exam for Jessica the day after the great dating disaster because Jessica just can't make it. But Elizabeth is so nervous and guilty about pretending to be Jessica that she bombs the test! Her troubles aren't over there, though. When Todd catches wind of this latest mix-up, he and Elizabeth find themselves at odds....and fighting over Jessica, yet again!
Bill Chase is also at odds with another awesome surfer, Sonny. And they battle at odds for a surfing contest championship, for which Bill beats at the last minute.
From 'the real' eyes and ears of Sweet Valley High:
First of all, Jessica was being her usual delinquent, trashy self so she ought to be happy that poison oak was the only thing she came down with during her latest boy-crazed fiasco. Come on, why's she so wrapped up about older guys anyway when she's so obviously immature?
Also...I heard from a friend of a friend of a friend, Elizabeth didn't bomb that exam when she pretended to be Jessica. She was finally exacting some revenge, and duly so! I don't blame Elizabeth for not wanting to work alongside Jessica, do you?
And....we all know the only reason Todd fights with Elizabeth about Jessica so much is because he secretly does have the hots for Jess. But you know how it goes, the grass isn't always greener on the other side, so why would he leave beatiful, dependable Elizabeth for thrilling, bitchy Jessica?
