Review:
In the third installment of SVH, Jessica (the most obnoxious and self-centered girl at SVH) and Bruce (the most obnoxious and self-centered jerk at SVH) seem to be hitting it off big time.

Sounds like a match made in heaven...and it seems to be, at least for a little while. Whiny, bitchy Jessica is usually doing all the scheming but it seems Bruce Patman has her wrapped around his little finger. First she skips cheerleading practice, then she's skipping sorority meetings and (gasp) dances!

All the while Bruce is pulling all the strings. He's doing what he wants and with whomever he wants.

The showdown finally occurs during Bruces' birthday party. Thanks to the quik thinking of Elizabeth, Jessica is able to catch him not only in a boldface lie, but also cheating on her! Bruce ends up wearing his food for the night as Jessica stomps away, glad to be rid of him in the end.

On the flipside Jessica has acquired a new minion, Robin Wilson. Overweight and a total outcast, Jessica is using Robin's desperation to be part of the 'in group' to her own advantage...she's got Robin doing her errands and her laundry! She's also promised her a nomination into the ever-trendy sorority for which she's president. Gasp again!

From 'the real' eyes and ears of Sweet Valley High:

First of all, who isn't tired of Elizabeth playing the martyr when it comes to her evil, self-centered, bitchy twin? On the one had she complains about Jessica, but on the other hand she is unwilling to let the bitch live and learn. News for Elizabeth...umm, maybe you could concentrate on your own life and you'd actually have one!

Second of all, Bruce treated Jessia just how she deserved. She wasn't in love with Bruce for who he was. She was in love with his black Porche, his money, his mansion, and his good looks. On the other hand, why would Bruce stick with just Jessica? It's obvious all she's got going for herself is her good looks, and in Sweet Valley, pretty girls are a dime a dozen.
